Olympique Lyonnais have been restored to the UEFA Women's Champions League after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) upheld the club's appeal against their expulsion.

On 15 January, the UEFA Appeals Body handed the French club a 3-0 defeat by default in the second leg of their round of 16 tie against Fortuna Hjørring for fielding two ineligible players, thus overturning a 5-0 victory which had given them a 6-0 aggregate win. However, according to the CAS decision, there is no reason to impose a disciplinary sanction on Lyon, and they will therefore play ASD Torres Calcio in the quarter-finals, with the first leg in France on 10 March and the return a week later in Italy. The winners of that tie will have a semi-final against Montpellier Hérault SC or Fortuna's 2002/03 final opponents Umeå IK.
