• The home of FK Vojvodina, the Karadjordje Stadium in Novi Sad will stage three Group A matches, the semi-finals and the final of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

• Named after the leader of the First Serbian Uprising in the early 19th century (translating as 'Black George'), the ground was retitled the Gradski (city) Stadium in 1945 before reverting to its original styling in 2007.

• Redeveloped in recent years, the multi-use stadium staged the 2009 European Athletics Junior Championship.

• Vojvodina won the old Yugoslav league twice, in 1965/66 – reaching the European Champion Clubs' Cup quarter-finals the following season – and 1988/89. Their best Serbian Superliga finish is second in 2008/09.

• Novi Sad is Serbia's second largest city with a population not far short of 400,000. The northern city, on the banks of the Danube, was the site of settlements as far back as 4,500 BC.
