Feyenoord have bolstered their squad ahead of the resumption of the UEFA Cup next month with the signing of promising Canadian midfielder Jacob Lensky from Celtic FC.

Successful trial
The 18-year-old leaves the Scottish champions without making a first-team appearance and has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with Feyenoord with the option for a further two years following a successful trial. He will link up with his new team-mates at their training camp in Turkey next Monday. The Dutch side, who are fourth in the Eredivisie, face Tottenham Hotspur FC in the UEFA Cup Round of 32.
