The Czech Republic will look to get three more points on the board as they play host to Liechtenstein in Group I, having already beaten them 2-0 in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying.

Match background
• Goals from Tomáš Necid and Václav Kadlec settled that first encounter, and the first between the sides, on 12 October. There was some encouragement for the home side at the Rheinpark in Vaduz, with Philippe Erne heading against the post.

• Liechtenstein's top club, FC Vaduz, have twice been paired with opponents from the Czech Republic in two-legged UEFA club competition games; Vaduz lost both ties and all four individual games by an aggregate scoreline of 17-1.

• Liechtenstein have gone 14 games without a competitive win since a 3-0 UEFA EURO 2008 qualifying victory against Iceland on 17 October 2007. Two of those matches ended in draws.

• Liechtenstein have also been waiting 15 games for a competitive away win, since a 4-0 success against Luxembourg in FIFA World Cup qualifying on 13 October 2004.
