Polish champions Wisła Kraków have signed Slovenia winger Andraž Kirm from NK Domžale on a five-year contract.

Replacement
The 24-year-old has been brought in to replace Marek Zieńczuk, who moved to Greek side Levadiakos FC, and to help the club in their UEFA Champions League campaign, which they start against FC Levadia Tallinn in the second qualifying round on 14/15 July. "I know that Wisła's goal is to reach the Champions League group stage and I am eager to help," Kirm said. "I am sure I've made a very good decision joining the Polish champions."

More activity
Kirm joined Domžale in 2005 and played 128 league games, scoring 22 goals and winning two 1. Liga titles in his four seasons there. The 17-cap international, who played against Poland in a FIFA World Cup qualifier in September, becomes Wisła's first recruit of the summer although the club are expected to delve into the market again with a new goalkeeper, right-sided defender and striker the priorities.
