Real Madrid CF winger Cristiano Ronaldo is doubtful for the first leg of his side's UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Tottenham Hotspur FC after picking up a hamstring injury during his side's 2-1 victory against Club Atlético de Madrid on Saturday.

Club doctors have indicated that the Portuguese international will be out for "between two to three weeks, depending on his progress", which leaves him in a race to be fit for Madrid's home leg at the Santiago Bernebéu on 5 April. Ronaldo will also miss out on Portugal's forthcoming friendly matches against Chile and Finland, and he looks set to be sidelined for his side's Liga encounter against Real Sporting de Gijón the weekend before they take on Spurs.
