UEFA has announced an exclusive agreement with the National Television Company of Ukraine (NTU) for the broadcasting rights of UEFA EURO 2012™ in Ukraine.

Live broadcasts and highlights
NTU will ensure an extensive free-to-air coverage during the tournament via live broadcast and highlight programmes of all 31 matches. These programmes will also be available on the internet and mobile. In addition, NTU will offer a wide promotion of the UEFA European Championship in the run-up to the final tournament via the broadcast of dedicated magazines and other programmes.

'Unique viewing experience'
Commenting on the agreement, UEFA General Secretary David Taylor said: "UEFA is delighted to welcome NTU as a member of the exclusive group of UEFA EURO 2012™ official broadcasters. NTU is a leading broadcaster in Ukraine and UEFA is looking forward to developing together with NTU a unique viewing experience for the Ukrainian audience. Having the broadcast platform in place in both host countries at such early stage will be highly beneficial for the promotion of the tournament."

Polish precedent
UEFA announced an agreement with Telewizja Polska SA for the broadcasting rights of UEFA EURO 2012™ in Poland in April.
